Welcome to the October Newsletter!
Halloween is all over! Hope you were spared the tricks but got lots of treats!
Now on to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then the home stretch – New Years. It’s hard to believe 2016 is almost over already!
We found another great programming joke for all our fellow Java and C coders out there.
Java and C are spending some time together, and they decide to tell jokes. Java goes, but his joke isn’t that funny.
It’s C’s turn, so he writes something on the wall, points to it and says “Do you get the reference?”
But Java doesn’t.
A Career in Coding May Be Just What You’re Looking for
As we near the end of the year, plenty of people will take time to assess their recent progress and achievements. That’s when you start to see the cracks are showing, at least when it comes to your career.
You may not like the people you work with. Or, perhaps you don’t like the duties you’ve been assigned. Maybe you realize you’re not going anywhere, stuck with the same job title that you’ll have for years?
Whatever it is. We’ve all been there. At a crossroads where it’s time to decide whether you want to stay on the train you’ve been on, or whether you want to get off at the next stop.
If that’s the case, a career in coding may be just the push you need to move your life forward. Back in April, we published a post about this on the CodeConquest blog, but now is a great time to revisit. If you haven’t read it yet, you should go do that, especially if you’re not happy with your current career!
